The standard jacket worn by soldiers of the Army of Northern Virginia from the fall of 1862 until the end of the war, Richmond Depot jackets are easily the most versatile garment for eastern CS impressions.

Our blank is offered in "type I" style jacket (with an additional $25 charge for the wool tape trim), "type II" style jacket, and "type III" style jacket (with the omission of the epaulets and belt loops.)  As standard if no type is specified you will receive a "type II" Richmond Depot jacket kit.

You may also specify a "high curved collar", a "high angled collar" or a "low angled collar".

Our blanks come with all of the interior sewing work done, with just the remaining exposed hand sewing left to do.  As with our kits you will receive a skein of thread with some beeswax, all the necessary buttons, and a instruction booklet with full color pictures!

For body material you have your choice of any of the fabrics on our CS fabric page, and you also have a choice between federal eagle, block "I", or wood buttons!
