CS issue drawers kit that would also be excellent for a civilian impression. Based upon the original pair in the collection of the Wisconsin Veteran's Museum that are attributed to Lieutenant Colonel Harrison Hobart of the 21st Wisconsin. Family lore held that Hobart made the drawers while incarcerated at Libby Prison out of a grain sack. But construction details and the material led researchers to surmise that more likely is that the drawers are a pair produced for the CS army and traded for by Hobart. The drawers themselves are made very simply with very few "bells and whistles." Even a novice can likely assemble these in a day or a weekend at most. Made from sturdy plain weave cotton and closed with a single button, this is an ideal first timer project!
