We are happy to offer a limited run of jean cloth blanket kits made exclusively for us by Family Heirloom Weavers! The blankets weigh approximately 4 lbs and measure approximately 75" X 65" (finished). The blankets are woven in a 2/2 twill with a cotton warp and a thick wool fill, which gives the finished product a much softer feel than the usual jean wool. They are made from short run wool yarn, so most have a slight color change throughout the body of the blanket, giving them a homespun look and ensuring that yours will be unique! The stripes pattern repeats around every 18". The blankets are currently available in three colors: gray with blue stripes, tan with gray stripes and tan with brown stripes. Some styles are very limited! The kits will come with enough thread to hem the raw edges, and some quick and easy instructions on how to finish them. Also, for an additional $40.00 we will hand sew the hems, trim, and finish the blankets for you, so that it will be ready to use right out of the box!
