Based on the Francis Gibson (26th SC) overfrock, our CS overcoat features a four-piece body with two-piece sleeve. The chest lining is cut from the same jean cloth as the body, is fully padded and quilted which gives considerable warmth to the wearer, and makes this a very substantial coat. Designed to be worn in a number of configurations (collar folded up, folded down, fold back the lapel) the overcoat is ideal for temperatures from cool to very cold. The coats are closed with six CS Block “I” buttons, and feature an interior breast pocket as well as two exterior jean cloth hip pockets at the ideal position to keep your hands warm.
